The Making of an Activist

A MEMOIR

Morton Gladstone

In 1944 as a young US Captain, Morton Gladstone flew in the lead allied aircraft of the D-Day invasion.
Fifty years later, on the Anniversary of D-Day - in a CBS TV News Special with Walter Cronkite reporting on
President Clinton, President Mitterrand and other world leaders meeting in Normandy - Morton Gladstone, in the New York studios,
was invited to reflect on the historic events and how they shaped and re-directed his life.
